Stereophonics New Album Pull The Pin No. 1 in UK; MP3s, Music Videos and Tour Schedule

With the release of their new full-length album Pull The Pin on Monday (not a Bank Holiday, by the way), and the buzz created around it with a duo of hot singles released this summer on the Monday Bank Holiday EP, V2 Records' flagship rockers Stereophonics are selling tickets fast for their upcoming 21-show European concert tour.

Pull The Pin has already reached the top of the album charts in the U.K. and appears to be holding strong.

The album's rapid ascent to the top of the album charts in the U.K. is no surprise considering Stereophonics' name recognition overseas.

Fueling the album sales have been the hit singles "It Means Nothing" and "Monday Bank Holiday". If you'd like to hear more tracks from Pull The Pin, see links below.

While there are no Stereophonics' shows scheduled for North America as of now, the band may have its best chance ever to make an impression on rock fans in the United States, especially if Pull The Pin gets more radio and MTV play.

If you have never heard of Stereophonics, here's your chance to give them a try. Use the Comments section below to voice your impression of the band's music and videos.

Trivia: Stereophonics were the first band to be signed by V2 Records in 1996.

You can buy the Pull the Pin on CD, vinyl or download it from iTunes, which includes two bonus tracks, a video and other features. Check out more information about the Stereophonics' upcoming tour, plus a full profile with more than a dozen Stereophonics' links.

    Lyrics for "It Means Nothing"

    Did we lose ourselves again?
Do we take in what's been said?
Do we take the time to be
All the things we said we'd be
And we bury heads in sand
But my future's in my hands
    It means nothing
    It means nothing

'Cos they love you all the same
They just go by different names
When we fly our flag today
Are you proud or just ashamed?
    It means nothing
    It means nothing

    It means nothing
    It means nothing
    It means nothing
    If I haven't got you
    If I haven't got you
    If I haven't got you
    If I haven't got you

And the sun sets in the sky
You're the apple of my eye
If the bomb goes off again
In my brain or on the train
I hope that I'm with you
'Cos I wouldn't know what to do

    It means nothing
    It means nothing
    It means nothing
    It means nothing
    It means nothing
    If I haven't got you
    If I haven't got you
    If I haven't got you
    If I haven't got you
